Interface Unit (MIU-Meter Interface Unit): To collect, process, and store electricity consumption data of a single meter.
Acquisition Terminal Unit (ATU-Acquisition Terminal Unit): To collect, process, and store electricity consumption data of different users.
Data Concentration Unit (DCU-Data Concentration unit):
 
  1. To read,collect, process and store the data from Acquisition terminal unit and Meter Interface Unit; record DCU's self-diagnostic information and abnormal information.
  2. To communicate with hand computer (programming device or meter reading device) by infrared type.
  3. To communicate with monitoring main station by selecting PSTN, SM/GPRS, TCP/IP, HV carrier wave modern to be installed inside DCU.
  4. To receive indicating order, transmit data & information.　　
Handheld computer
 
  1. programming device: To set, read and check all kinds of parameters and data.　
  2. Meter reading device: To read and check all kinds of electricity consumption data from DCU/ATU/MIU.
Main station computer
 
  1. To realize the functions of circular checking, reading & checking, programming,gramming, monitoring, management, analysis, etc by special purpose management software in the system.
  2. User must equip corresponding modern for the use of communicatition.
